The Studio56
Photographer

If you’re looking for very formal photography in a studio setting that simply captures an image on film, I’m not the girl for you. In my photography (and in my life) I believe in seeing rich, meaningful stories in everyday events, and I want my photos to reflect that philosophy.

The spectrum of what I do ranges from documenting events in an interesting way with a slant on photojournalism, to telling stories with my camera while I snap shots of joy and wonder all around us. While my photos are on-location, natural-light based and casual, I temper that casualness by setting elevated standards for image quality and high art, which is always created through superb lighting. In each picture I try to simultaneously capture a candid and spontaneous event by instilling a bit of drama, and not only capture the moment, but more importantly, the dream.
